Team Shake, Rattle & Rollers will be taking to the road again this year in the 2019 Tour de Fox! Our team will be cruising 10.7 miles through the world-famous vineyards of Sonoma County with our owner Allan and his family, friends, and American Asphalt. Proceeds from the ride will benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation to speed better treatments and a cure for Parkinson’s, as well as the local GOLA Foundation which supports sports and fitness for specials needs children and adults.
These charities are close to our hearts as Allan’s sister-in-law, Colleen, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s, as well as a former employee of ours Jimmy. So far this year alone, our team Shake, Rattle and Rollers has donated a combined $15,000 towards these foundations to help Colleen and Jimmy.
We start at the beautiful Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates & Gardens and ride through the wine country. The ride ends with the Finish-Line Festival, where American Asphalt is a Celebration Sponsor and riders enjoy live music, wine & beer tasting, food, and kid-friendly fun.
As we head into our 4th year of this ride, we’re excited with how much our team has grown. Last year, we had almost 30 riders and raised over $26,000 for the cause! Allan Henderson has always had a heart to give back, and with him as our leader American Asphalt will continue to strive to help and support our communities.
